After visiting an injured officer, Will Payton is being tracked by Bolt and Alan Madison as they use a small device to record Will’s energy signature for Bolt to follow. Landing a job interview in San Antonio, Will decides to fly to it until Bolt closes in. Bolt's got a job to do...simple, really. Just kill Starman.

As Starman, Will visits the officer he rescued while pursuing the serial killer. Bolt and Dr. Melrose's assistant Alan are waiting in a nearby parking garage. They get an energy trail to follow.

Later, Will gets a job interview in San Antonio. Flying there from Phoenix as Starman, he's attacked by Bolt. The mercenary underestimates Will's powers.

After a successful interview, Will runs across Bolt again.
